Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Lip blushing is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance their natural lip color, correct uneven tones, or add a soft flush of color that lasts. It's especially helpful if you'd like to restore lost pigment, improve symmetry, or reduce the need for daily lipstick. You must let us know if you have a history of cold sores or keloids when booking your appointment.

Lip blushing results typically last 2-3 years, with most clients enjoying soft color for at least 12-18 months before considering a refresh. A touch-up is strongly recommended 6-8 weeks after your first appointment, and annual color boosts help maintain the perfect shade.

Absolutely! Lip blushing and lip filler work beautifully together. If you already have filler, we recommend waiting at least 4-6 weeks after injections before your lip blushing appointment to allow swelling to subside and for the filler to settle. If you plan to get filler after your lip blush, we recommend scheduling it after your touch-up session so your color heals evenly. Many clients love the combination - and we know just the experts at Organica Aesthetics to help you achieve fuller lips.

Comfort is a top priority. Most clients describe the sensation as mildly uncomfortable rather than painful - often compared to light scratching or tingling. A topical numbing agent is applied before and throughout the procedure to keep you comfortable.

  • Days 1-2: Your lips may feel slightly swollen and the color will look bold and vibrant - this is completely normal.
  • Days 3-5: Light peeling and flaking will begin. As the skin naturally exfoliates, the color will begin to fade. This stage is temporary and a part of the process.
  • Weeks 2-4: The true color will begin to settle in. Your lips will soften, and the pigment will look more natural and subtle.
  • Weeks 6-8: Healing is complete. By this point, your color will have fully bloomed into its final shade. This is also when your touch-up (perfecting session) is recommended to refine and enhance your results.

Throughout your healing, it is important to keep lips moisturized, avoid picking or peeling, and follow the aftercare provided. Trust the process - the end result is soft, natural, and long-lasting color.
